About Dr. Macdonald
Dr. Macdonald is a highly accomplished Cosmetic and Facial Plastic Surgeon. He is a Member of the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery as well as the American Board of Otolaryngology- Head & Neck Surgery. He is also a member of both the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada and the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Macdonald received his medical degree from Queen’s University and then did an internship at North York General Hospital, accompanied by residencies at the University of Toronto and Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. He then pursued advanced fellowship training in Cosmetic Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of California-San Francisco underneath the auspices of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS).
Dr. Macdonald is the Head of the Aesthetic Surgery Center Inc. in San Francisco, as well as the Chief of the Tier of Head and Neck Surgery at the Alameda Health System in the East Bay (Alameda Hospital, San Leandro Hospital, and Alameda County Medical Center) where he also operates as an Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Surgery at the University of California.
Dr. Macdonald is also the Director of a National Physician Training Center for BOTOX* Cosmheadachesetics. In conjunction with his clinical post at UC-San Francisco, he has lectured at the Meiji College of Oriental Medicine and lectured for the Oakland Kaiser Head and Neck Surgery training system.
